Some symptoms of Swine Flu seem similar to normal flu, such as fever, lethargy, lack of appetite, coughing etc. However, the fever of swine flu comes on very suddenly and sufferers have also reported a runny nose, sore throat, chills, aching, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea! In addition, it seems that babies and young children may experience fast or difficult breathing, bluish skin tone and irritability as early warning signs of this condition.
As with all illnesses, Swine Flu can vary in severity, and there can develop possible complications, such as Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Sinus infections, Ear infections and in rare but serious cases even Death.
You may be aware of the comparisons that have been drawn between Swine Flu and the Spanish flu of 1918, however, Homoeopathy had a huge success rate against the pandemic in 1918 (see www.flusolution.net), and all that experience has prepared homoeopaths worldwide in case another similar outbreak should occur. That said however, all would do well to apply basic preventative measures.
Remedies & Solutions:
Obviously there are the common-sense precautions; such as covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when sneezing, discarding it and washing your hands. Abstaining from touching your face, eyes, nose, mouth and avoiding close contact with already ill individuals. Yet it is equally important to stay calm and focus on maintaining and improving your health. A nutritional balanced diet and supplements to boost your immunity will give you a good head start, ranges such as Natures Choice and Bio-care are excellent (feel free to contact me for more information).
There is a list of seasonal flu remedies in my Winter 2008 Newsletter which you can easily download off my website that provides useful information. (One of these remedies is discussed in more detail over the page).
However, if you are manifesting the above mentioned symptoms and are concerned that you may have Swine Flu get into bed, drink lots of water and contact me to discuss homoeopathic treatment. Moreover, it is important that you contact your GP and advise him/her of your condition. And never forget there is always the Homoeopathic Helpline which is ready to answer all your questions and concerns; you can contact them between 9:00am and Midnight. on: 09065 343404.
